There is no doubt that music is a huge part of my work as an energy therapist and to be honest with you, music has always played a significant role in my life. It moves me to my core. I feel the vibrations but I also feel the meanings of the lyrics that have been put to the music. It moves my energy as well as my soul.
On August 2nd, I released my debut album: IMAGINE and I am so much more than thoroughly excited about this. I cannot even explain how my heart skips a beat when someone tells me they love it, meditate to it, think it's beautiful and find it totally relaxing.
In my practice, I play quartz crystal singing bowls for healing purposes. The tones the bowls emit create a frequency or hertz that calibrates your body allowing the healing process to begin. Now the music I play on my CD, Imagine, is for meditative purposes and the only instruments on the CD are, of course, my quartz crystal singing bowls. The music s very organic in nature because that is what you hear when you attend a concert and that is how I wanted this CD to sound. Not one note was digitally altered on my CD. I am most grateful that I made that decision and from the feedback I have received, everyone seems to agree, it was the right decision to make.
There is a very beneficial effect on the human body from sound and quartz crystal singing bowls deliver sound in a unique and very soothing way.
However, there is so much more that is gifted to us from music, beyond sound - it speaks to us and gives us message if only we listen to the lyrics.
Even though I know that, I wanted to prove it. What I found completely amazed me. I thoroughly enjoyed the process and I became both intrigued and inspired. That’s when it hit me.
